Concur with above author, Metoprolol will not show up on a standard urine drug screen.
First of all, why did you take the pill?? No, it will not show up on a drug test. Metoprolol has no "high" effects. It works to lower blood pressure by reducing the power of the contractions of the heart. So in short, taking the pill without the need, may cause lightheadness or a faint feeling, but it will not cause you to fail a drug test. If you fail the drug test, it was from something else!
