why did my nose bleed that much after using my proventil inhaler?

by Admin on November 30, 2009

I had to use my proventil inhaler but after 10-15 minutes my nose bled non-stop for about more than 10 minutes.and it’s the first time I experience this.
I just dont know if it’s sth serious I should check or it’s normal as side effect.and even if it’s side effect why it never happened before and why my nose bled that much

serious – bleeding is counter indicative to use medicine!

my four yr old has the same inhaler… never had the problem. something i think you need to take up with your doctor.

Albuterol is a Beta Agonist, it dilates the bronchi’s (lungs) to let you breath easier. it also increases your heart rate which is the number one side effect. Think of it like the fight or flight response. When some one scares you, you get a burst of the fight or flight response, easier to breath, faster heart rate, less digestion going on, etc… These would be the normal reactions.
