what the highest amount of atenolol you can be prescribed to take in a day im asking cause im currently on 100mg for extra beats 50mg in the morning 50 at night and it somewhat works but not fully and was wondering if i ask my dr to maybe increase if he could or not so whats the highest you can go up to thats safe

I think, you are in right dose. The maximum dose of Atenalol is 100 mg which can be given as divided dose of 50mg ,morning and bedtime or a full dose once in a day.
Your doctor may suggest other drugs or add some other drug if your problem is poorly controlled.

It looks like it’s usually only given once a day, usually a max of 100 mg daily. If it’s not really working, they may be able to give you something else for your problem.
