I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted and the doctor prescribed 500mg of Amoxicillin capsules. I have difficulty swallowing it and it starts melting after each failed attempt. Then the capsule melts and opens up and the stuff smells/taste really bad. I start gagging from it. What’s an easier way to take it?

Get in touch with the dentist who prescribed it and ask them to prescribe you a liquid version instead. You shouldn’t really open the capsule and dissolve it because it can affect the absorption which will make it less effective.
