Speaking from a dental point of view-dilantin can cause your gums to overgrow sometimes. You need to watch for it, inform your dental hygienist/dentist and work hard to keep your mouth very clean.That’s all I know about it.good luck.
I have been on a anti seizure medication for over 40 years, It is a central nervous system depressant. It will cause drowsiness, but you should adjust to that side effect over time if you break out in hives or have any abdominal discomfort you should call you’re Doctor and let him know as soon as possible.
