I have pcos, and i have been taking clomid, however, it has not worked. When clomid doesn’t work, what is the next step?

usually IUI is very successful for treatment. Its easy as a breeze and most people who get pregnant with IUIs do so within 3 to 4 cycles.
If ovulation is the problem, your doc may want to try femara (like clomid, a pill, but some people respond better to it). If not, then the next step is injectables – those drugs are a lot more powereful and have much higher success rates.

I’m not familiar with the next step with PCOS, but my Dr said if Clomid didn’t work, he would next do Clomid with HCG shots – then IUI after that.
