I have been taking lortab 10s for 4 months and they are not working like they use to. I have taking Roxicodone 30mg and they seem just strong enough to help. But I dont want to alarm my Dr and make him think I just want strong drugs.

If you are looking for an "excuse" then you are not taking the pills for pain. Plus, there is not a doctor in the world, Pain Management or otherwise, that is going to take the leap from 10 mg Hydrocodone to 30 mg Oxycodone in one dosage adjustment. That is just enormous! And it would more than likely be malpractice if some harm was done to the patient as a result. If you are actually in this much pain to warrant the use of 30 mg oxycodone tablets, then you need to see a pain management doctor, and you also need to get the pain problem fixed if at all possible.
tell him the truth
I don’t know if you mean Oxycodone or Roxinol(which is liquid morphine). Most doctors will cut you off if you try to up your medicine because of the risk of a dependency for you. When pain persists for a long period it is looked at as chronic pain. You might want to see a pain-management specialist to treat your pain.
The word excuse is a dead give away….
