urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, gonorrhoeal urethritis and cervicitis, bone and joint infections, skin and skin structure infections, septicaemia, infected corneal ulcers, severe bacterial conjunctivitis. It is a Quinolone and thought to inhibit bacterial DNA synthesis.
Cipro is generally used for lower respiratory tract infections, not upper or sinus.

Cipro would not be the first drug of choice for a sinus infection. You don’t want to build up a resistance to that antibiotic when there are others that are better for URIs. Are you sure you actually have an URI, and not just a virus? It’s not good to take antibiotics unless you really need them. :)
