I would not suggest that you stop taking Coreg. It is a beta blocker. If you stop taking the medication you may experience a number of problems as was answered by the first person. If you want off of Coreg you should be on a different beta blocker such Metoprolol or Atenolol. you really need to speak with your cardiologist before just plainly stopping the med.
It depends on WHY a person is on Coreg.
Some possiblities:
1) increased heart rate
2) worsened heart failure
