What foods should I avoid eating while taking the medication Atenolol?

i saw no food/drug interactions for atenolol in drug facts and comparisons. i did find one
article that said orange juice administration reduced atenolol AUC by 40% without changing its half-life. AUC is area under the curve and represents the total amount of drug absorbed.
grapefruit juice is okay.

Avoid drinking grapefruit juice or eating grapefruit. Always read the patient information sheet that is provided to you when you get this medication filled or refilled. Also you can always call your pharmacist. They are happy to answer your questions.
