Elavil has been discontinued, what do we have that is similar or used instead of Elavil?
Hmm, I saw that Elavil has been done away with yet my Dr gave RX for it today!!!! 03/25/2011. WHY??? Doctors don’t know what drugs are available and which ones to prescribe? OMG.

Elavil was used years ago. It has been replaced by the new SSRI types of medication which are much more effective. Ask your healthcare professional.
Elavil, like ALL Anti-depressant medications do NOT work and are causing all kinds of problems everywhere with people. Depression is NOT a deficiency of a drug, let’s start there. Can you name just one disease that ANY drug company has CURED in the last 200 years of their existence? Just one.

Eating low fat diets is a major contributor to depression; not getting enough good minerals in your diet is another. If you are eating lots of fruits and vegetables you buy in typical grocery stores, you will be very deficient in minerals. If you are eating or drinking anything labeled "DIET," you will be loaded up with toxins. All these things are the typical causes of depression. Also get lots of exercise because that is a great boost to getting rid of depression.
