I have recently been prescribed provigil, but my insurance will not cover it for some reason. It would cost me over 0 to pay for it alone, and I can not afford that. Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Thank you!

  2. Your pharmacist can find a comperable drug that IS covered by your insurance and discuss it with your doctor, between the two of them, they can decide what option is best for you. I would suggest taking the Rx into the pharmacy and asking the pharmacist if he/she could speak to your doctor about alternate meds within your insurance coverage.

  3. maybe ritalin or adderall. my mom is narcoleptic and has been taking provigil for some time now. many of the ADHD drugs are quite similar. if it were me i would talk it over with my doctor to find a different medicine or maybe a generic alternative. always consult you doctor when making these sort of decisions.
