None. Your pup doesn’t weigh enough to give it anything OTC.
If the pup is sneezing that often to give you this much concern then call your vet and have the pup seen sooner.
Benadryl should only be approved by your vet first. Not someone who hasnt seen or doesnt know exactly why your pup is sneezing in the first place. Plus over dosing for such a small dog is very likely too.
A 3 pound dog needs dosing from a vet, not someone here.
It’s okay for him to sneeze as long as he doesn’t have difficulty breathing.
If you really want to give it to him it goes by weight. He’s the weight of a baby of how old?
one mg every 8hrs or u can do.5mg if he is under 20 pounds
Infants usually get .05 on the dose dropper so i’d go with that if you need to give something right away but its best to consult with the vet or a vet tech maybe you could call the local humane society and they might share info.
Don’t give the puppy Benadryl unless your vet has advised it. You have an appointment next week.
If the puppy gets worse, call your vet clinic and ask to move the appointment up.
Don’t give your puppy Benadryl (or any other medicine) without talking to the vet first. Call the vet’s office, let them know the puppy is sneezing a lot, and ask if you can get an earlier appointment.
You need to call your vet they can give you the dose.
RING the vet and ask for qualified help. Your pharmacist would be the only other I would ask (they are great with medications and know which are good for animal use as well as human). Don’t take advice from anyone on here as to dosage – we don’t know your dog or his situation and could get it horribly wrong. Personally I wouldn’t be giving a 3 month old pup ANY non-prescibed medication.
