My dermitologist told me that i have to use a "bland" cleanser now that im into my second month of 60 g of accutane a day. I was wondering if this is right and if so, why? Any other tips for while on accutane would be welcome, Thanks!

My brother was on Accutane for awhile too. He used Cetaphil. Its really gentle mild cleanser its oil free too. It makes your skin feel soft as well:)

OH- and the reason why you need to start using a bland cleanser is because your dermetologist put you on a higher dose, and strong acne cleansers could really hurt your skin since its so senstive while using accutane.
Let me tell you it works wonders though, my brothers acne is totally gone!
haavent u heard the commercial of accutane they are sueing ppl who recommended because theres ppl that have gotten sick from it
