Not good. Anything that releases chemicals that the child would otherwise not be exposed to in the womb can be fatal, if not farmful to the child!

You have to see a doctor now to find out if you are pregnant. Some medications for mental illness cause extreme damage to a fetus. Your doctor will adivse you as to what you have to do if you are pregnant. It is your responsibility to protect your child if you are pregnant. Don’t think I may be pregnant, go see your doctor tomorrow if you can, each day can make a difference. If you are not pregnant then discuss with your doctor what to do if in the future you do become pregnant. This is something you should already have done before getting pregnant

The effects of cymbalta has not been studied. They know it can pass into breast milk in lab animals.

Zyprexa does not have a warning on pregnancy, the prescribing information just says discuss with your doctor before you become pregnant.

It is known that other SSRI’s similar to cymbalta birth defects can occur including defects to the lungs that can kill the baby after birth. I am not telling you what to do because I am not a doctor, but if I were a pregnant woman I would never take any drug that hasn’t been studied.
