You see, when you're on these drugs, which are antihypertensives, then you tend to have low pulse rate and blood pressure readings. I'd say if her blood pressure was ok, then don't worry but you can always call her doctor and find out. Aren't both of those drugs for high blood pressure? My mother in law is almost 90 and takes Norvasc. Possible they shouldn't give her both medications, I'm not sure but I'd call and find out. It could be because it was so early in the morning. You need to make a phone call to her doctor today (there is always someone on call) and talk with them about this heart rate. At 37, she will have no energy and will feel dizzy and weak. This also puts her at risk for fainting and falling and possibly breaking a hip. This heart rate is dangerous for someone who is 102. Make the call as soon as possible. 37 is way too low and her medications could be causing some of the problem or, she could be having a conduction problem in her heart.
