I’ve been taking Crestor (Cholesterol lowering pills) for a couple weeks. My eyelids swell up in the morning?

Could this be a sideffect from taking Crestor?

That is a new one, even for me. I believe that statins cause eye and ear problems, but never heard of that one. Did you know that statins can effect your memory and your personality?
Do you know that statins kill as many patients as they help. Yep, for every heart attack they prevent, a person will die of cancer or other infection due to the immuno suppressive effect.
I could go on for days but I will sign off as usual,

You may have an allergy to the drug. Talk to you doctor.

Perhaps. I don’t know of Crestors s/e. When I get that it is because of too much salt (sodium) in my diet. Try to cut way down on that.

Its highly unlikely…did this start imediately you began the Crestor?…if yes then you may be allergic to one of the ingredients in it…if it didnt start that same day you began crestor then it is something else…have a think back and remember everything that is different …even something as boring as a different washing powder for your clothes to a different brand of sauce…could be anything that is causing this reaction or even something on your hands that you have wiped into your eyes accidentally…maybe a new shampoo.
