I have a pinched nerve that gets inflamed because of muscle spasms. My dr. has told me that I must take flexeril 3 times a day to help the healing. My problem is that I work full time, and am a 3/4 time student. I can’t be sleepy all day. Any suggestions from people who have taken this medication would be helpful.

Only "counter" is to not take it, sorry. You may want to try a lower dose, about 40% of people get sleepy with 10 mg dose and only 30% with the 5 mg dose. Or you may try another drug.
