I am having toothache, but I don’t have money for dentist now. So I take one 200mg ibuprofen in the morning and one before bed to ease my toothache. Would this break my stomach after couple months?

you need to ask your Dr. or dentist..there are dentists that will work with you and some free clinics available you may need to ask around..i do not know where you live you don’t say..and having pain i.e. a toothache probably means damage to the nerve or infection is present..being so close to your brain infection could actually kill you there is a good chance you could get septic (infection) in your bloodstream… do go to the Dr. don’t take someone else’s leftover antibiotics to try and kill the infection. Ibuprophen is a great OTC pain reliever ,but pain is always a sign our body gives us to be very careful and /or get some professional help i.e. go to your Dr. or ER if you have to, but don’t ignore it..for long periods of time or try to cover it up as sooner or later it will catch up with you.. I wish you the best of luck in whatever your choice is to do? If it was me I’d be headed to the Dr. to get some professional assistance with the problem. Ibuprophen can cause stomach problems and problems with bleeding and should not be taken on a regular basis without a Dr’s order or following you for your problem. God Bless I hope this advice will assist you to make the right decision about your problem. I ama RN and I do know when someone should seek outside help…:-)))
I think it would be okay. Your system adjusts to it after a while, and as long as your not taking more than you should, it would be fine.
Nooo, don’t do that! Those medicines aren’t really good to take in the first place – they have harmful chemicals that only numb the pain for your brain, they don’t fix the problem. Go to a dentist as soon as possible, they offer payment plans and you can call around for the cheapest ones. The longer you let this sit the worse it will get.
floss, brush and use anti cavity fluoride rinse, twice a day for a few days. it aches a little at first and takes a few days to work.
