I took an ibuprofen by CareOne for a headache at home. Got to work and felt like I may need another but I only had a different kind by CareOne.
Basically, the same brand but one tablet was an elongated shape and the other was a circular shape. Same doseage too! Does it matter? Why would they even be different shapes? I don’t think they do anything different, I don’t recall any details on the bottle ever standing out. Thanks!

It’s perfectly safe. It’s the same medication, same strength, same dosing directions. It’s the same principle as any other product that varies in shape, color, or packaging depending upon the manufacturer.
No you will be just fine,some manufacturers just use different shaped pills.
