I was having a lot of stomach pain so I decided to try taking Prevacid. I’ve been taking it for 4 days and I feel a lot better so I do believe it’s helping. However I’ve been needing to urinate a lot more than normal, like at least 8 times a day. Could the medicine be causing this or should I be worried about a coincidental bladder infection? I’m not having any pain when urinating.

Diuretic side effects from Prevacid are not listed in the known side effects so your problem must be due to other causes. A bladder infection does not necessarily cause any pain such as a burning pain.
There are plenty of possible side effects, but that isn’t listed as one of them. Have you been drinking a lot to try to calm down the heartburn? It might just be other coincidental factors.
