I had some problems and needed to be anibiotics several times during my pregnancy, I can’t remember if Augmentin was one of them (there were so many!). I’m sure it is probably fine but your GYNO will need to be informed of it.

I am on my second child and I have had to take antibiotics while pregnant. They are 100% safe. A doctor wouldn’t give it to you if it weren’t safe. I promise

You are very safe. Augmentin (Amoxicillin/Clavulanic Acid) is a 2 part drug. The Amoxicillin is a penicillin derivative, which is simply a broad spectrum antibacterial. The Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor…a compound which prevents the enzyme beta-lactamase from breaking down the drug before it can kill the bacteria. Both the Amox and Clav are very safe for both you and your baby. Good luck to you in the rest of your pregnancy.

Augmentin is safe to take while pregnant, I was on it for a bit when I was pregnant also.

It shouldn’t, but you really should ask your doctor.
