My daily dose of Effexor XR should be 300 MG. I stopped the meds cold turkey on Tuesday and today, I took 5 pills of 150 mg.. so a total of 700 mg’s. And my body has been going through withdrawal hell and yeah, I took 5 pills and now I feel a bit weird but more or less okay. I have Seroquel, Rivotril and Desyrel that I may take and have a nice medication cocktail. I don’t care. So far is 700 mg’s of Effexor okay on my body ? I feel a bit weird, but nothing serious. Maybe a bit dizzy. And I don’t want to call 911 or anything. So am I okay. I don’t want to get judged.

Going * Cold Turkey * and then taking 700 mg of Effexor or any kind of medication like this, is VERY alarmimg and shocking to your system. Check your Heartbeat and Pulse every half hour. Pulse should be 60 to 70 as normal, and hearbeat per miute should be between 50 to 100 Heartbeats per minute. So check and if they drop or increase 10 to 15 % more or less than normal… call an ambulance and be prepared to repeat this a few times… they DO need to know so they can help you. Remember the best advice if needed = 911
Good Luck.. But the bad news.. I would NOT do this again, just take them daily as prescribed, is the best route allways.

700mg is too much!
