Though, if you had a very bad UTI before you started taking the cipro, it could take longer to kick in. As well, if your kidneys start to hurt (back problems, sore lower back) then you should call you doctor straight away as this could have turned into something more serious. Good luck! It depends on the severity of the infection. However, take ALL of the pills as perscribed. Remember . . . -Drink more water. -Urinate after sex. -(Trying not to be graphic) Careful when cleansing yourself after using the bathroom.
