I have been on Allegra and Astelin for 2 years for my allergies. I want to have a healthy pregnancy but I dont want to give up my allergy meds. How can I find out what category these meds are under for pregnancy? I know allergies seem minor but I live in the deep south and my throat swells shut everytime I come off the meds for more than two days.

You should talk to your doctor – I have allegies, too and she ok’d me to take Benedryl and the regular Claritin.

i’m looking at my list from the doctor here and it says you can take Claritin while you are pregnant. i hope this it helps.
