How safe is it to take prozac,abilify and klonopin while pregnant ?

My friend is 3 months pregnant and taking all of these drugs. Her doctor says it is ok. She is worried about birth problems.

wow. Id be worried about the prozac, I dont know what the others are… she needs to tough it out.. sucks for her.

Drugs are tested and receive different pregnancy classifications. Drugs classified with an A are not known to cause any problems to fetus and X means causes birth defects or hasnt been tested on humans. You can look each of them up on the internet or she can talk to a pharmacist if she doesnt trust what her doctor says.

You are NOT supposed to take klonopin while pregnant!

This is really between her and her doctor. That said, I still have personal opinions now. I was not on konopin or abilify with my pregnancy, but was on a small dose of prozac for anxiety. My doctor had said that it should be fine. I question that now, as my son had the worst heart defect possible, and was also missing veins. Prozac is still Class C, but Paxil is now class D. It makes me wonder. . . .
