How many Tylenol 1 does it take for death?

by Admin on August 13, 2010

Alright well my friend doesn’t think it’s actually possible to overdose on Tylenol 1s, and I’m trying to tell him that it is. In any case, how many pills would you actually have to take for it to kill you?

sorry, it’s for headaches, not suicide.

Technically taking more than the recommended dose is an overdose. So say each pill is a dose, taking two ills would be an overdose. There for you are right.

But to die? I’m not telling you. That would be incredibly irresponsible.

well it says on the bottle not to take more then 8 in 24 hours. So if you took like 15 you’d be dead, probably

I heard in the news about a lady who took over 2 bottles in one day, not much to say other than that she isn’t here with us today, I would definitely say not to take more than what the bottle says or what the doctor says.

It damages your liver, not an instant death, but a slow painful one as someone else said.

back in january I spent 4 days on life support in a comma possibly facing a liver transplant due to an ACCIDENTAL TYLENOL OVERDOSE!!!!!

I have severe carprall tunnel in my hands and had been taking 15-20 ibuprofen a day for the pain. Of course my poor stomach paid the price I developed ulcers. Seeing how TYLENOL is the "SAFE DRUG" I switched from the IB. I only had 2 take half the amount and like I said I always understood TYLENOL to be the safe pain pill, shoot they even tell you so in their commercials. What they fail to tell you is that "TY" is extremely hard on your liver due to that fact that it remains there and the dosage just keeps rising! It doesn’t take long either! Thank God my son found me on the floor unconscious and in convulsions.HE SAVED MY LIFE!
I was extremely lucky, but many aren’t. While in recovery I discovered that many people die all the time from TYLENOL overdoses.
