  1. A single dose is dependant on whatever the amount is that the doctor prescribed for you take. A dose of cipro could be 250 mg, or it could be 1000 mg. Depends on the person and their ailment. But for goodness sake DON’T take 1000 mg just because I said that!!

    From what I read, a common dosage of cipro is 500 mg for an uncomplicated UTI, and 1000 mg for more serious problems. However, I caution against high doses of anything, to be careful.
