I took half of a 4mg dilaudid 2 nights ago and the other half last night, not knowing i would have a drug test today for a job!! I’ve been reading online and it says the half life of the drug is 2.3 hours. Does this mean the drug should be out of my system within 12 hours? please help ASAP!

Not really. Half life of drugs is largely a function
of patient metabolism. Three to four days
is the safe area for a urine or blood test, although
the waste products can be detected longer in
a blood test, and much longer on some other
tests.
You may pass, but you are taking a significant
risk.
