I have a bladder infection that is causing me a significant amount of pain. i started Cipro a week ago yesterday and went back to the doctor on Monday because my symptoms had been getting worse. she prescribed me to try Macrobid instead. i’ve now taken 4 pills (2 days worth @ 2 pills per day) without any relief. I’m on a 5 day treatment. how long should i wait for these meds to work before heading back to the doctor for more testing?
