My Doctor just put me on Claritin (10/mg/day) for allergies. I have been taking it for 3 days now and I have not noticed any change in my symptoms. Should it have done something by now or have I not given it enough time?

I have read some studies and Claritin onset of action is around 12 hours. You did not mention what it is the origin of your allergy. The permanence of the allergen near you would be the reason of your sustained symptoms. Your doctor has other options to treat your allergies so I encourage you to ask for a follow up appointment if you do not see any improvement in the next couple of days.
