How do you pronounce the name of the anti-nausea drug "Phenergan"?

Hi, I have a very simple question, just how do you pronounce "Phenergan"?

My mother insists on pronouncing it "FEN-er-GRin"
I say that it’s "FEN-ER-GIN" (short i sound)
But I think I’ve also heard it pronounced "Fen-RIG-in"

Also, does anyone know which is generally most effective for nausea (I get really nauseas from post nasal drip and antibiotics, and the doctor was either going to prescribe Zofran, Ativan, or Phenergan)? Ativan is an anti-anxiety which is sometimes used as an anti-nausea, so I didn’t want that. And I’ve taken both Zofran and Phenergan before when I was in the hospital for food poisoning, but I was too violently ill to remember if either worked.
