How do I get prescribed to Ambien?

by Admin on October 27, 2009

I have alot of trouble sleeping, I’ve seen many people on here saying that Ambien works for them. My mother used to take it and she gave me one once and it put me right to sleep. How do I get prescribed to it? Do I just ask my doctor for it?

Just talk to your doctor, but please be open to opinions that the doctor might have.

go to your doctor , tell him your symptoms, get the prescription.

Yes, ask your doctor for it. I have taken ambien for years. I started out with 5 mg. Now, I take 10 mg.
Caution, Ambien is addictive. I know. I have taken it every night for years. The doctor is not worried, since it is better than the alternative.
Be careful. Twice I have taken 2 pills, the second time by mistake. I did sleeping walking, and I ate food the first time. The second time I also did the sleep walking and talked to my wife. I fixed a strange concoction of food that I left on the kitchen counter that I did not eat.
So, only use ambien if you have a real sleeping problem. I do, and so did my dad and my sister.
