I am currently taking Avapro for High blood pressure due to PKD(Polycystic Kidney Disease) but this medication is expensive () and not covered by my insurance. Should I switch to a cheaper generic? I’ve read that Avapro is good for people with kidney problems. should I switch anyway?

Hi yes I would change to the cheaper generic medication as well. I would also go to this website the information there maybe of some help to you as well.
It’s best to check with your physician regarding this. One should not fool around with blood pressure medications
