Any one out there taking Prinivil/generic: Lisinopril ?
What were your side-effects from the medicine? And did anyone out there notice any side-effects from their high-blood pressure? They say it is silent.. but I swear I feel anxious, tense and sometimes I get headaches or dizzy.. any one else out there feel like that?

The biggest thing that usually happens when folks start ACEI’s (like you are) is just feeling pooped. I’ve never read about it, so it is only my guess that the body was used to being at the higher pressure & must adapt to the lower one. Dizzy/headaches would go with that. I wonder if the anxious/tense could come from just feeling wierd/different. You should feel better in 1-3 weeks. If you don’t, call the prescriber. There are too many blood pressure meds. not to be on one that agrees with you.
My step father takes that medicine.He had no side effects.He had no warning signs his was high.I know of some people with high blood pressure that was dizzy and bad headaches.
