Has anyone tried to use Enbrel for psoriasis?

by Admin on September 15, 2009

My dermatologist prescribed me Enbrel and it was approved. I have yet to pick it up at the pharmacy, I was just curious is anyone out there uses it & what their results are?
It’s completely paid for by my insurance. Only have a small copay for 3 months supply. It’s all taken care of & will be over-nighted through my M.O.P.
* I wish there were some more helpful responses…

I have been using it for about 2 months. The good new is that there have been no side effects. The bad news is that there have not been any good effects either. Derm wants me to give it another month. If it doesn’t work at that point, he will switch me to Raptiva. Embrel does work well for a lot of people though.

I Know lots of people that have had eczema really bad,and have tried EVERYTHING, only to have nothing really work.
Anyone from 3 years old to 80 years old.
Really sad.
Until they tried a lotion that I know of that has T-36 C3 melaleuca oil in it.( T-36 C3 is the highest grade of tea tree oil )
I personally do not have eczema or psoriasis, but this has really helped alot of people.
I don’t sell it or anything but if you want more info you can email me at enhancinglivesdaily@yahoo.com

I’ve not heard that indication. I can’t believe your insurance paid for it. You might want to check your Pharmacy to make sure of two things. First that your insurance does pay for it, and what the copay is. Second if the Pharmacy even has it on hand. Enbrel has to be drop-shipped, which requires the Pharmacy to make a special call to arrange it.
