Everyone's body is different, so you may have a completely different experience than someone else. The only side effect I experienced was my boobs grew a tad. The good side effects were that my acne got alot better and my periods are light with no cramps practically at all. People that generally experience bad side effects usually suffer from depression, like your sister, decreased libido, difficulty lubricating vagina naturally, and mood swings. If you begin to notice any negative side effects that make you think the cons outweight the benefits then just ask your doctor to let you try a different brand, and you may do alot better. Don't be scared, when I read other people's experiences before I started the pill, I practically had an anxiety attack, and thought about throwing the prescription away.. But I did and I've had barely any problems...unless you consider having bigger boobs, less acne, and nice light periods a problem!
