I am taking a new diabetic drug called actos. Since I have started taken this I have found my blood sugar has gone sky high. I stopped taking it for 3 days now and I am getting more normal readings. Anyone else experience this?

When I was on Actos, my sugars were in control but i gained weight. I then went off of Actos and on Byetta along with metformin.

Yes, talk to your doctor, there are lots of different types of meds for type 2 diabetes.. If your regular physician can’t get your blood sugars under control, try to find an endocrinologist or diabetic specialist.
