Is it its purpose (or perhaps one of its purposes) to erase wrinkles?
And if so, which one is better: botox or colagen?
It’s not that I intend to inject botox or colagen on my skin.
But yesterday, I heard a TV show about beauty treatments and I have become curious to know the difference between both.

Botox and collagen are both injected to reduce wrinkles. Collagen is naturally present in the body and there are relatively few side effects since it is a natural protein when it is used in cosmetic procedures.
Botox injection is another story. There are many negative and harmful results as a result of Botox injections. A very informative site to learn more is RealSelf.com. You can submit online questions and have responses from many board certified doctors and plastic surgeons and many persons who have undergone both treatments share their experiences and give reviews of treatments online.
Botox is basically botulism, which is a toxin that paralyzes the muscles in your face so that your wrinkles don’t show. Collagen, on the other hand, is something that is naturally already in your body, but you start to lose it as you get older. It makes your skin more stretchy and improves elasticity, so that your skin is less likely to wrinkle.
