My son is 12 and he takes Levothyroxine (.025 Mg.) – 1 pill in A.M. I believe it is the generic equivilant for Synthroid. He gets his thyroid levels checked every 6 months or so. Hasnt been adjusted at all yet… The only symptoms he’s had on it is some weight gain and it creates too much acid in his stomach, so he has acid reflux alot.
I’m on Synthroid 4 my thyroid med,sorry,can’t help u.
