I had a siezure, the day after tomorrow is my husbands birthday, and I want to know if it is ok to have one or two margaritas. The doctors around here, they haven’t told me anything about the medication, and I am curious. I don’t want to risk my health, but need to know for sure if anyone knows about that, thanks!

I took Dilantin for years and drank beer every day with no apparent ill effects.

I really don’t know, but I was at a party once and there was this guy there who usually drank, but he didn’t drink any alcohol that night because he had had a seizure earlier that day.
Call your doctor or local pharmacist and ask.
best thing is call your doc an ask, it is his job to inform patients of the meds they are taking…cautions/precautions etc…. OR call the local pharmacy they are there to help…better to ask doc or pharmacy for best results
