Especially before surgery?

Ibuprofen does have an impact on platelet aggregation but not to the same extent that aspirin does. Celebrex (celecoxib) does not effect platelet aggregation. In other words, ibuprofen, yes, Celebrex, no.

If you are scheduled for surgery, follow the advice of the Surgeon and Anesthesiologist.
