Could cellulitis or Clindamycin cause psychotic behavior in some individuals?

Cellulitis can be very painful, and sometimes extreme pain can bring out "psychotic" behavior in a patient. Depending on the bacteria causing the cellulitis, there may also be some exotoxins circulating that might further degrade cognitive function. Clindamycin is simply an antibiotic, and would be appropriate for cellulitis. It should have no effect whatsoever on mental behavior. I think it’s probably the pain causing it, not the antibiotic.
