I’ve been on Zoloft 100mg for 3 weeks and have had severe anxiety the last week. This has evelvated my OCD Symptoms. My doctor added Abilify to alleviate the anxiety. Will I notice a difference in 1 to 2 days? Will Abilify help in the effectiveness of the Zoloft

You won’t notice the effects of Abilify in 1-2 days and yes Abilify is being used to increase effectiveness for antidepressants.

Abilify will bump up the effectiveness of the Zoloft as it will any antidepressant. As for the anxiety, If the Zoloft is managing that for you then the Abilify should help with that, also. You will not, however, feel the effects in a day or two. It takes awhile, as with any medication, to build up an appropriate blood serum level. You may start to feel a difference in as little as a week to ten days but you probably won’t feel the full effect anywhere from four to eight weeks. Just be patient and give it time, it will work. Building blood serum levels takes time, especially if your dr just started you out on a maintainence dose. Good luck to you.

Why are you on Zoloft for anxiety? You do not need medication for anxiety. Anxiety is caused by a hidden stress that has caused the nerves in the brain to fire when there is no danger. Anxiety medication even causes depression after 6 months. Zoloft has caused many people to lose it. Science has already revealed that you can do techniques and stop anxiety on your own.

Also the medications that you are taking will hook you for life. You are setting yourself up for more trouble in the future. You can heal this without the drugs SEE THIS ON PANIC ATTACKS AND DRUGS

Yes, but you won’t see a difference that quickly at all. Abilify will either work or make you much worse.
