The people that said it’s an ACE inhibitor are correct. The others, well, just guessed. A bad thing in dealing with medicines.

Sounds like you already know…have you tried looking it up online? I’ll bet the pharm. company that makes it has some information available.

Vasotec (Generic = enalapril) is an ACE inhibitor. It lowers blood pressure. ACE inhibitors are very commonly used drugs. The most common side effects are orthostatic hypotension (feel dizzy when you stand up fast) and a dry nagging cough.

i believe it is a vsodialator.it makes you blood vessels get larger in diameter.like when your pupils dialate in the dark so you can see.

You know it is an antihypertensive, probably a calcium channel blocker. See the website of the manufacturer.
