Can you take the medicines Keflex and Sporanox together?

by Admin on October 4, 2009

I am taking Sporanox for nail fungus and keflex because I just had an ingrown toenail removed. I haven’t taken the sporanax since I have been taking the keflex, so I was wondering if I could start taking it again?

Yes- the Sporanox is an anti-fungal and Keflex is an antibiotic. Two different medications for two different things.

I’d consult a pharmacist or a doctor though if you are still uneasy about it….it’s never wise to take medical advice from an on-line forum where anyone can answer…if you’re not 100 % satisfied that the answer is indeed correct, make a phone call….any pharmacy will be happy to answer your questions.

See below for a drug interaction database….you can enter as many medications as you want and then hit "Check Interactions" and it will search and tell you if there are any and what they are.

Have a blessed evening :-)
