Can Triamcinolone Acetonide cream be used to treat foot/nail fungus?

by Admin on January 14, 2010

I have a discolored little toe nail – part of the nail is black color. None of my other toe nails have this condition. I do get pedicures. And do wear stylish high heels.

Look, Triamcinolone Acetonide is for fungus but only for cutaneous candidiasis, also you need a prescription to get access to this drug.

Check this info:
Triamcinolone Acetonide Pharmacology:
The antifungal binds to fungal cell membrane, changing membrane permeability and allowing leakage of intracellular components; the corticosteroid adds anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive action.

Indications and Usage:
Cutaneous candidiasis.

I recommend to use and other specific product for your nails fungus:

Also they give you a free sample (find it in the website), so you can check if works for you before buy it.
