Can I use claritin as a substitute for clarinex?

by Admin on December 8, 2009

My doctor prescribed me Clarinex, but I heard Claritin is just as effective, cheaper, and I don’t need a prescribtion.

Please see the webpages for more details on Antihistamines
(brand names-Claritin and Clarinex) and Desloratadine (generic name) (Clarinex-brand name).

you can always walk into a drug store and get advice from the pharmacist and they can tell you the differences between the two meds.

but you also might want to consult your doctor for another substitution because your doc knows your diagnosis.
