I am taking it for my strep throat and so far it hasn’t cleared up. I am wondering if splitting the pills in half will decrease the effectiveness of the pill.
Can I split my Augmentin 1000mg pills in half and eat both instead of eating it whole?

if it’s scored (has a line down the middle of the pill) you can split it. but to be certain call any pharmacy and they would be able to tell you.
