I think the capsules makes it easier to digest and will be less likely to make them sick. Raregold...many vets do prescribe Keflex for dogs and cats. It's not just for humans. Hope this helps. Most drugs that are dispenced in a capsule form can be opened up and mixed with food or drink.. as the capsule is ussually some kind of gel-cap that dissolves quickly anyways. consult a vet, or even a pharmacist may know if that drug can be used in that way.
