		<description>As the other poster says, consult with your vet first before you open the capsules.  I think the capsules makes it easier to digest and will be less likely to make them sick.

Raregold...many vets do prescribe Keflex for dogs and cats.  It&#039;s not just for humans.

Most drugs that are dispenced in a capsule form can be opened up and mixed with food or drink.. as the capsule is ussually some kind of gel-cap that dissolves quickly anyways.</description>
